Launch at Torrey

Lynn over Torrey Pines State Beach. We had a good day of flying, but near the end of the day I saw some paragliders climbing out at the far north end and figured with the Atos I could make another run down there and back easily.

Only problem was when I got there I saw they were using motors and had launched from Del Mar Beach. I turned tail and got as far back as I could but was about a half a mile north of launch and on the beach when I landed. Turns out it's a nude beach and I got to walk past nudists playing volleyball and covorting in the surf which was entertaining anyway.

Horse Canyon

A flight with Lynn Perry at Horse. Lynn lives in Alpine and I see her whenever I head south in the winter for some flying. She usually toplands and drives my rig down from launch so we don't have to do a retrieve.

Over El Capitan in Atos on a good day. I top landed right behind launch which was fun. This flying site is east of San Diego near Alpine Ca.
