One of the reasons flying at Wolf is special is the beauty. The camping is awesome too.

Sierra Flight/Labor Day
Looking at Mt. Whitney heading north from Walts Point. Maybe 11000' or so.
The day turned on and I was around 17000' here looking north. I stayed deep in the range and high and continued north to Crowley Lake. The west winds which usually push us off the range were absent. Others made the crossing to the Whites so to make retrieve easier for our driver I crossed over the Glass Mts. coming in on the Whites at Boundary Peak. I was about 8000' then and couldn't find the lift which was over the top of the range so went out and landed at Janies. 103miles.
